山中 颯太

1982年東京生まれ。広告撮影スタジオでのアシスタント業務を経て、フリーランスフォトグラファーとして独立。国内外のブランドや出版物へのビジュアル提供のほか、ドキュメンタリー的な視点での長期取材も手がける。各地の建築や風景を記録するシリーズをきっかけに、空間に積み重なる時間や、光によって移ろう景色との関係性をテーマに据えるようになった。グループ展、個展を経て、現在も国内外で活動を続けている。

Sota Yamanaka

Born in Tokyo in 1982. After working as an assistant in a commercial photography studio, he became an independent freelance photographer. Alongside creating visual work for domestic and international brands and publications, he also engages in long-term projects with a documentary perspective. A series documenting architecture and landscapes across different places led him to explore themes of accumulated time within spaces and the relationship between light and ever-changing scenery. Following group and solo exhibitions, he continues to work both in Japan and internationally.
